I-SNP

An I-SNP is an Institutional Special Needs Plan. It is a Medicare Advantage plan for people who live in an institution, or who live in the community and need the level of care an institution provides. It is not a D-SNP and not a C-SNP. The ratings lookup is at /star-ratings-2027.

I-SNP

The plan's contract can still have a Star Rating. The rating is not a statement about one facility.

Does an I-SNP rating describe one nursing home?
No. Star Ratings score the Medicare contract. They are not a rating of a single facility.
