Quality bonus payment
A quality bonus payment is extra money Medicare pays a Medicare Advantage contract when its Star Rating qualifies. The 2027 Star Ratings, released October 8, 2026, affect 2028 quality bonus payments. They are not the bonus for 2027. Use the 2027 Star Ratings lookup.
