Definition · Codes and claim data
The labeler code is the first segment of a National Drug Code. FDA assigns it to the firm that manufactures, repacks, or distributes the drug under its own name. The product and package segments come after it. On an HCPCS crosswalk row, this site shows the labeler next to the drug name. The lookup is at /ndc.
