The List of Excluded Individuals and Entities is the public HHS file of exclusions from Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs. This site stores NPI numbers from that file and no names. The file is the September 2026 update, last modified October 9, 2026. OIG's own search is the official check. The lookup is at /oig-exclusion-check.
A match on this site means the NPI is in that file. It is not a new exclusion decision. A clear result means the NPI was not in the file. Name-only matches are not treated as exclusions here.
