PECOS

PECOS is the Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System. Medicare providers and suppliers use it to enroll, revalidate, and update their enrollment. A public CMS dataset reports enrollment rows by NPI. A missing row on a lookup page is not a decision that someone is unenrolled. The lookup is at /medicare-enrollment-lookup.

PECOS

The page asks the public CMS data API for that NPI and shows the row it returns. It does not submit an enrollment and it does not change PECOS.
